The Conceptual undertaking of this project known as ‘colour me candy’ was to create a space with soft tones that are great at maintaining a calm and relaxing home ambience. The brief given by the client was to give them a home with soft edged modernity, eternal palette and an inspiration of simple French classical panelling, making this 4200 sqft home a beautiful exploration of muted candy cane colours juxtaposed on French classical panelling.

The space enters into an unapologetically blush swept living room with a luxurious indulgence of tones such as eternal pink and copper coloured furniture with classical panelling. Gracefully curved sofas and circular coffee tables and carpets create a free flowing space with soft edges, providing a romanticism ambiance to the living. Beautifully customized candy coloured falcon carpets with blush, teal and dior grey are elegantly intertwined into space. The dining which is attached to the living area employs similar copper tones with a french classical panelling and a circular dining table adding to the unrestricted flow of space.

The three bedrooms have an essence of soft enveloping mood with moments of fashionable allure. The master bedroom is designed with the usage of delicate white tones and pops of muted candy colours on the cushion. The living space with a bright pink coloured sofa and a painting of a reproduction of hydrangea and swallow enhances the composition of the space. The other two bedrooms follow a similar soft edged modernity and classical panelling with white and copper finishes. One of the bedrooms shadow candy inspired colour tone with a charming sanderson wallpaper and a pink toned bed, which is decorated with pink stripped cushion and green coloured floral motif cushion making the space in sync with ‘colour me candy’.
